Thanks for the Antiguan Sky suggestion. Five years ago I painted a hallway the wrong Robin's Egg (too dark, too green)and have lived with it unhappily, but am finally going to repaint. Went and bought a sample of the Antiguan Sky today and it looks like it will be perfect. Appreciate the time and research you saved me!

Polly - it sounds like a great plan to me. I haven't actually used the Laura Ashley or Designers Guild paints (I'm kind of a Benjamin Moore girl). But, I checked out the swatches and they look like really nice tones. As for the white walls, I think they'll look great. I might suggest a white with a bit of neutral color to it. Nothing too super-light. I used <a href="http://redbirdcabin.com/?p=202" rel="nofollow">"White Dove" in my bathroom</a> with a deeper blue-green and it looks amazing. Best of luck with the room!

What a beautiful little egg.
I am going to paint one of my walls with robin egg blue. And the rest white. What do you think?
I am going to use the Laura Ashley duck egg blue, or maybe Desginers Guild Duck egg blue.
